Horne Street Elementary School's teachers and administration are cooperating with the Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) to enrich technology in our classrooms.  As a school community we feel it is imperative to make available to, and use current technology with, our students. We are reaching out to our local community to support our students and teachers through this school-based initiative.

We are asking for your financial support to reach our goals. Attached is our cover letter describing the plan and proposed budget.

Phase I LCD Projectors have been purchased.  Next is an I-Pad for each classroom teacher.

• General Mills Boxtops for Education . Each box top is worth 10 cents for our school. Please save and send box tops into school. There are collection boxes in the front foyer.

  Hannaford Helps Schools Buy four sponsoring products and earn three dollars for our school. There are collection boxes for the receipts in the front foyer at school and a slot for HSS at Hannaford on Central Ave.
  
  
  Campbell's Labels   Please send labels into school.  There are collection boxes in the front foyer.

  Target Take Charge of Education
  

•   Tyson Project A+ .  Each label is worth 24cents.  Please save and send into school. There are collection boxes in the front foyer. 
  

  Recycling
  

   We participate in  The Funding Factory  recycling program.  Please send your old printer, fax, and copier cartridges to school.  Each cartridge earns money for our school and by recycling you are helping our environment.  There is a collection box in the computer lab.
