What is the Purpose of Title IV
Title IV A, Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grant Program, is a federal grant intended to improve students' academic achievement by providing all students with access to a well-rounded education, improving school conditions for student learning, and improving the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students. This program is driven by needs assessments, and developed in consultation with a stakeholder group.
Where Does Title IV Funding Go?
It is important to note that the funds must be used to supplement and not supplant state and local funds for education. In other words, Title IV A funds cannot be used to replace local funds that would otherwise be used for the same purpose, and must be used according to federal regulations.
